Tourney golf apparel offers a variety of apparel products including pants, shorts, outerwear and a variety of polos. The brand in it's current form is fairly new and can only be found at online golf retailer GlobalGolf.com.
In a world of expensive brand named golf polos, the Tourney brand is offered at a great value. All five short sleeve polos are listed at $29.99, and that is before any discounts that Global Golf is almost always offering. The long sleeve quarter zip is slightly more at $34.99.
Of the different types of polo offerings I have the Dell and Brassie style of polos. The Brassie feels like most golf polos on the market today. Super soft, breathable and there is no limitations to movements. This style offers a limited number of color options and have two toned horizontal stripes throughout the shirt. While it is not overly flashy like some golf apparel, it also isn't your boring solid color shirt.
The Dell has a few more color options and more of a solid color design, however there are faint lines in the shirt to give it a little something extra. The Dell is an ounce or two heavier than the brand name golf polos I own and you notice the heavier build of it. The Dell also provides a tighter feel. It in no way limits your range of motion, but it is something you notice. Especially if you are use to lightweight shirts.
The long-sleeve quarter zip is another solid piece of clothing that looks and feels great. Its fit is more of an athletic fit, and in my case that means getting the long-sleeve in a size bigger than I get the polos in. An important piece of information to consider since it can only be found online.
One of the great things with Tourney shirts is they work great off the course too. My Dell gets a lot of wear in non-golf situations. While I don't prefer the heavier and tighter feel of the shirt for golf, I love it as an everyday polo. As we head into fall the quarter-zip will be getting the same treatment.
And while the shirts are about as cheap as you will find on the market, they look and feel like high quality shirts. As I said, my Dell has been worn a lot and washed a lot. It still looks brand new and the collar is in great shape, something a lot of my other cheaper polos can't relate to. If you are in the market for a good value on a golf, or work/casual, polo than you should check out the Tourney lineup. Remember to scope out the latest Global Golf deal when purchasing, and if you are lucky there might even be a Tourney product specific deal that is even better.
